For machining facilities, fabricators and treatment houses
Cut for space programmes without chasing them
We qualify manufacturers for specific job classes and send them drawings that are ready for production: revision pinned, finish specified, tolerance class and inspection level stated. One PO, one contact, honest credit for your inspection work.
What we offer our manufacturing partners
Work you can quote in an afternoon
- 01
Drawings that are ready to cut
Every line has passed DFM before you see it. Revision pinned, finish specification named, tolerance class stated, inspection level chosen. You quote the part, not the ambiguity.
- 02
One customer, one PO, one contact
You deal with an Almost Aliens engineer, not a programme office. The PO comes from us, the questions come from us, and the payment comes from us on the terms stated on the PO.
- 03
Work inside your classes
RFQs reach you only for job classes you are qualified in: process, material, tolerance and inspection. No job feed, and no open bidding against dozens of competitors.
- 04
Your inspection, honestly credited
Where you took the measurement, our report says so. Your CMM record travels with the part with your name on it, reviewed or witnessed by us.
- 05
Certification opens classes
ISO 9001 and AS9100D unlock job classes that uncertified vendors are not asked to quote. If you are working towards either, say so; we track it.
- 06
Progress reporting from the floor
Stage photos against PO milestones, from your phone. It is how we keep the client informed without calling you every day.
What we do not offer: a job feed, instant matching, or a bidding board. RFQs are sent by an engineer to the vendors qualified for that class, and answered by the vendor in writing.
Qualification
Five steps, physical not paperwork
- 01
Application and documents
Ten minutes online. We ask for the registrations that make you a vendor we can pay and the certificates you already hold. No bank details are requested on a web form.
YouGSTIN, Udyam registration, ISO or AS certificates if held, an equipment list.
UsCheck the registrations, read the equipment list against the processes you claim.
- 02
Capability review
A conversation with an engineer about what you actually cut, in which alloys, to which tolerance class, with what inspection equipment.
YouFacility photographs or a site visit, and sample inspection reports from recent work.
UsMap your capability to job classes: process × material × tolerance × inspection level.
- 03
Test part or witnessed job
Qualification is physical, not paperwork. Either a test part to a drawing we supply, or a witnessed first job at low quantity.
YouCut the part to the drawing, with the finish to its specification and your inspection record.
UsFirst Article to AS9102 on the result. Reviewed by us; measured by you or an accredited lab.
- 04
Qualified for job classes
You are qualified for specific classes, not for everything. Certified vendors unlock more classes; nobody is asked to quote work they have not been qualified for.
YouKeep the capability profile current when equipment or certification changes.
UsRoute RFQs to you only inside your qualified classes. NDA on file before any drawing is shared.
- 05
Performance on record
On-time delivery and first-article pass rate are tracked per PO. Good performance widens the classes you are asked to quote; a miss is discussed, not hidden.
YouStage photos and progress reporting against the PO milestones.
UsHold the schedule, raise slips early, and pay to the terms on the PO.
The same sequence is described from the client side on the quality page.
Apply
Ten minutes, read by an engineer
Have your GSTIN, an equipment list and any certificates to hand. Declare only what you actually run and hold. The capability review verifies it, and an honest “none yet” starts more qualifications than an optimistic list.
